According to IntoTheBlock, USDT\u2019s market cap reached $83.76 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Realistic or not, here\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/calculator\/marketcap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">USDT\u2019s market cap in USDC terms<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>This development comes after the world\u2019s largest stablecoin slightly fell from its previous high hit on 1 June.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/USDT?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#USDT<\/a> market cap just reached a new all-time high.<br \/>\nIn early June, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24USDT&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$USDT<\/a> market cap reached its previous high from May 2022 but has not been able to sustain that level. The market cap has now confidently reached a new all-time high. This shows that despite regular FUD, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24USDT&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$USDT<\/a>\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/QqRYXEiztG\">pic.twitter.com\/QqRYXEiztG<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 IntoTheBlock (@intotheblock) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/intotheblock\/status\/1684105827496472576?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 26, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h4><b>As USDT reigns, others fall apart<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The milestone signals renewed confidence in USDT over other stablecoins increased. This signals a spike in circulation and use of the coin. However, it has <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/tether-under-attack-as-whales-dump-usdt-cto-stands-firm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">not been an easy ride<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for USDT, especially since <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TrueUSD [TUSD]<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> came into the spotlight.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Holders&#8217; appeal for stablecoins bring a sense of confidence that they can redeem their assets reliably. Furthermore, this gives them a lower chance of losing their value compared to other cryptocurrencies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Between January and the time of writing, TUSD\u2019s market cap went from $943 million to $2.8 billion. And this soaring market cap could be linked to lingering <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/usdt-usdc-and-dai-has-the-sec-kickstarted-stablecoin-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">regulatory concerns<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> market participants have around <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Circle [USDC]<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It also links to<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0the increasing phasing-out stage of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Binance USD [BUSD]<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While TUSD continues to make its mark known, USDC has lost hold of its market cap position. One reason for this is the way <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/can-xrp-maintain-its-position-as-the-fourth-largest-crypto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ripple [XRP]<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> surpassed it since the project partially won its SEC case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In March, USDC recorded as much as $10 billion in outflows after Circle owned up to being <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.circle.com\/blog\/march-15-update-on-usdc-operations?utm_content=241691274&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;hss_channel=tw-2151686839\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">affected <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by the chaos that hit the traditional finance industry. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>HODLing season as a new candidate appears<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With reference to its volume, on-chain data showed that USDT pumped to $25 billion on 24 July. However, the volume had decreased to $18.3 billion at press time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a yardstick used to measure an asset\u2019s health and liquidity, a stablecoin\u2019s volume shows the rate of market strength. Therefore, USDT\u2019s volume reflects a relative improvement in liquidity gained.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per the 7-day Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio, Santiment <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/app.santiment.net\/charts\/jTKxxp_g__sCl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">showed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that USDT had fallen into the negative ratio. The MVRV ratio divides the market capitalization by the realized cap.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The more the ratio increases, the more participants are willing to sell for potential profits.
