The metrics clearly revealed the faith investors had in BTC, as they expect the coin\u2019s price to boom again over the coming months and years.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">JUST IN: Total <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bitcoin<\/a> supply held by long-term HODLers is at an ALL TIME HIGH ? <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/AqfS3L5bjc\">pic.twitter.com\/AqfS3L5bjc<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Bitcoin Magazine (@BitcoinMagazine) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BitcoinMagazine\/status\/1682482251345395712?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 21, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A look at Bitinfochart\u2019s data gave a better understanding of the current supply distribution of<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/bitcoin-walks-on-tightrope-as-sec-hints-at-appeal-for-ripple-ruling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BTC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> among multiple groups of investors. Addresses with a balance of 1,000\u201310,000 BTC accounted for the maximum number of holders, as the percentage of coins held by them was 24.18%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This group was followed by addresses with 10\u2013100 BTC, and 100\u20131,000 BTC, which accounted for over 22% and 19%, respectively.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_329714\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-329714\" style=\"width: 911px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Bitinfocharts.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-329714 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Bitinfocharts.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"911\" height=\"399\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Bitinfocharts.jpg 911w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Bitinfocharts-300x131.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Bitinfocharts-768x336.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 911px) 100vw, 911px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-329714\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Bitinfocharts<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While long-term investors were reluctant to sell their holdings, it was interesting to note a considerable decline in Bitcoin\u2019s balance on exchanges. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jan W\u00fcstenfeld, an author and analyst at CryptoQuant, pointed out in a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoquant.com\/insights\/quicktake\/64babba3cf2a1e1a52fc4e50-Bitcoin-exchange-balances-are-down-to-levels-last-seen-around-the-start-of-2018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">analysis<\/a> that<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/bitcoin-analyst-points-out-unmistakable-sign-of-sell-pressure\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BTC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s supply on exchanges was declining. In fact, Bitcoin exchange balances were down to levels last seen around the start of 2018. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per the analysis, exchange balances declined by about 32% from their peak in March 2020, down from 3.1 million to 2.1 million BTC. BTC\u2019s weighted sentiment after a dip also registered an uptick, suggesting that positive sentiment around the coin increased.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is your portfolio green? On top of that, its Binary CDD was green. The metric meant that long term holders&#8217; movements in the last 7 days were lower than the average. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This was yet another bullish signal, suggesting a price uptrend in the coming days. At press time, BTC was<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">trading<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at $29,910.75 with a market capitalization of over $581 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bitcoin\u2019s supply held by long-term holders reached a new all-time high.
