The hype has also allowed the coin to move its price marginally up over the last 24 hours.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Read<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/litecoin-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Litecoin\u2019s [LTC] Price Prediction<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2023-24<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While halvings are generally followed by a price uptick, several are expecting LTC to boom in the days to come. But should investors expect anything massive from the coin before the event happens?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>A look at Litecoin ahead of its fourth halving<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nicehash\u2019s<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicehash.com\/countdown\/ltc-halving-2023-08-06-11-00\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">countdown<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> pointed out that Litecoin\u2019s fourth halving is just 11 days away from the time of writing this article. As the hype around LTC increased, the blockchain also registered increased activity in terms of accounts. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Santiment\u2019s recent tweet revealed that in the last 24 hours, 1,185 more addresses have been created that own at least 100<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/litecoin-whales-unrelenting-in-their-accumulation-as-holders-increase\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LTC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, suggesting high accumulation ahead of the major event. <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">? <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Litecoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Litecoin<\/a>&#8216;s upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/halving?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#halving<\/a> on August 2nd is still bringing increased trader enthusiasm. In the past 24 weeks, as more have become aware of it, 1,185 more addresses have been created that own at least 100 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24LTC&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$LTC<\/a>. Coinwarz\u2019<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinwarz.com\/mining\/litecoin\/hashrate-chart\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">chart<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> revealed that Litecoin\u2019s hashrate registered a decline over the last week. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A similar declining trend was also seen on LTC\u2019s difficulty<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinwarz.com\/mining\/litecoin\/difficulty-chart#:~:text=Current%20Litecoin%20Difficulty,in%20the%20last%2024%20hours.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">chart<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, suggesting an outflow of miners from the network. At press time, it was<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/litecoin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">trading<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at $94.48 with a market capitalization of more than $6.9 billion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The hike in price can result in an increase in the aforementioned metrics, as it would mean more profits for miners. As the halving date is closing in, several in the crypto community have high expectations for Litecoin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per Shan Belew, a popular Twitter user who posts updates related to the Litecoin ecosystem, he mentioned in his latest tweet that, as per his findings, Litecoin\u2019s price can reach the $30,000 mark.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Oh sh*t. I had the $625k &#8211; $1.5M targets on the chart and was looking at how this market structure for Bitcoin looked just like 2015-2017 cycle. So I overlaid the fractal and sure enough it was spot on with <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CathieDWood?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@CathieDWood<\/a> Bitcoin targets.
