In the last 24 hours, the token\u2019s price soared substantially, allowing it to recover its market capitalization.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Realistic or not, here&#8217;s<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/calculator\/marketcap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SOL&#8217;s market cap in BTC&#8217;s terms<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, it was surprising to note that despite the massive hike in price, the blockchain\u2019s network activity declined. Will decreased usage of the network have a negative impact on its price action?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Solana\u2019s price skyrockets!<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/solana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Solana\u2019s price was up by more than 40% over the last seven days. Though this was extremely bullish, the better news was that in the last 24 hours alone, SOL\u2019s value increased by nearly 31%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Not only that, while SOL\u2019s price rose, its trading volume also increased by more than 300%, which acted as a foundation for the surge. At the time of writing,<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/how-solana-navigated-a-problematic-q2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SOL<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was trading at $28.46 with a market cap of over $11 billion, making it the eighth-largest crypto. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to the price uptick, positive sentiment around the token also spiked, as evident from Santiment\u2019s chart. Additionally, SOL\u2019s Open Interest rose as well. As per Artemis\u2019 chart, SOL\u2019s number of daily active addresses and daily transactions fell, suggesting less usage. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, it was interesting to note that despite the drop in transactions, the blockchain\u2019s fees and revenue gained upward momentum. For instance, the Exponential Moving Average (EMA) Ribbon displayed a bullish crossover. The Bollinger Bands also revealed that<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/has-solana-moved-on-from-its-fiasco-with-sam-bankman-fried\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SOL<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s price was in a high volatility zone, further increasing the chances of a continued uptrend. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, SOL\u2019s Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) went down slightly. Additionally, SOL\u2019s Relative Strength Index (RSI) was in the overbought zone.
