The report highlighted the pivotal role the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) played in this decline across various exchanges. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The regulatory scrutiny commenced with Bittrex, which faced allegations of trading unregistered securities.
