Nevertheless, this upward momentum might also signal a potential downside for the cryptocurrency&#8217;s price trajectory.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8211; Realistic or not, here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/calculator\/marketcap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LTC market cap in BTC&#8217;s<\/a> terms<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><b>Litecoin&#8217;s price, MVRV hike<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the last five days, <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/litecoin-crosses-100-onwards-to-110\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Litecoin<\/a> has seen a remarkable surge in value, soaring by nearly 40% according to its daily timeframe chart. This surge was the highest recorded in over a year, making it a significant milestone. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Litecoin was trading at approximately $110.8, although it had also seen a decline of over 2%. Also, the MVRV indicated signs of decline, suggesting a decrease in the value of <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/litecoin-is-upcoming-halving-causing-the-bull-run\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LTC<\/a> holdings.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>LTC\u2019s volume, active addresses show divergence<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the price of <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/all-you-need-to-know-about-litecoins-latest-milestone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Litecoin<\/a> appreciated, another notable metric that saw a significant hike was its trading volume. Looking at the 30-day active addresses metric on Santiment, there has been a noticeable decline. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In fact, the number of active addresses stood at around 8 million. In contrast, it touched almost 14 million in June before the decline began.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Pre-halving surge?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The recent surge in <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/litecoin-a-look-at-the-state-of-ltc-hodling-as-its-halving-draws-near\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Litecoin&#8217;s<\/a> value could be attributed, at least in part, to the highly anticipated halving event. The halving event occurs approximately every four years or after every 840,000 blocks mined. During this event, the block reward is reduced by half. This process continues until the block reward per block reaches zero, estimated at around 2142.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, the block reward for Litecoin is 12.5 coins per block but would decrease to 6.25 coins per block after the halving takes place. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.litecoinhalving.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">next halving<\/a> event is scheduled to occur in less than 30 days.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8211; How much are 1,10,100 LTCs worth today<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Other &#8216;positives?&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinglass.com\/currencies\/LTC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coinglass<\/a>, there is a prevailing positive sentiment regarding the price trajectory of Litecoin. For instance, <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/litecoin-cracks-this-key-level-amid-its-recovery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LTC&#8217;s<\/a> funding rate on major exchanges flashed a positive value. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This suggested that traders held expectations of a potential price hike in the future.
