Lido (@LidoFinance) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LidoFinance\/status\/1658195237280284678?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 15, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">How\u00a0much are 1,10,100 LDOs worth today?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the V2 deployment, Lido introduced two key components, with the \u201cmost user-facing aspect being Ethereum withdrawals.\u201d According to Lido, in an earlier published <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lido.fi\/introducing-lido-v2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">press release<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, this feature will enable Staked ETH [stETH] holders to withdraw their assets directly from the Lido platform at a 1:1 ratio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second component introduced by the V2 upgrade was the Staking Router, an innovative modular infrastructure that allows for the seamless development of on-ramps for new Node Operators.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Lido said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe Staking Router will act as the nucleus of the Lido vision: a platform where stakers, developers, and node operators can collaborate without friction and drive the future of a decentralized Ethereum together.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><b>Now that Lido has joined the gang\u2026<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following the implementation of Ethereum\u2019s [ETH] Shanghai Upgrade (Shapella) in April, some staking service providers immediately commenced partial and full withdrawal of the long-staked ETH coins on their platforms. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to data from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dune.com\/hildobby\/eth2-staking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dune Analytics<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the staking services of centralized exchanges such as Kraken, Coinbase, and Gate.io have experienced spikes in ETH withdrawals in the last month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_313767\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-313767\" style=\"width: 1378px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.23.20.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-313767\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.23.20.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1378\" height=\"756\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.23.20.png 1378w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.23.20-300x165.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.23.20-1024x562.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.23.20-768x421.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1378px) 100vw, 1378px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-313767\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Dune Analytics<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For example, within the first week of the Shanghai Upgrade, Kraken logged the withdrawal of over 125,088 ETH \u201camidst pressure from the SEC to close down its US-based staking service,\u201d according to on-chain data provider <a href=\"https:\/\/insights.glassnode.com\/the-week-onchain-week-19-2023\/\">Glassnode<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since withdrawals became enabled, 1,437,859 <a href=\"https:\/\/etherscan.io\/address\/0xb9d7934878b5fb9610b3fe8a5e441e8fad7e293f#withdrawals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">withdrawals<\/a> totaling over 277,000 ETH have been made on Lido in the last 24 hours. Additionally, data from <a href=\"https:\/\/app.parsec.finance\/layout\/wilburforce\/dE0XOJyv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parsec<\/a> revealed a spike in stETH aggregate withdrawals following the implementation of Lido\u2019s V2 upgrade.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_313768\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-313768\" style=\"width: 1394px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.24.32.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-313768\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.24.32.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1394\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.24.32.png 1394w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.24.32-300x165.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.24.32-1024x564.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Screenshot-2023-05-16-at-07.24.32-768x423.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1394px) 100vw, 1394px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-313768\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Parsec<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite witnessing increased withdrawals in the last 24 hours, Lido retained its dominance as the leading platform for liquid ETH staking, maintaining a substantial market share of 31.39% of all staked ETH coins.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Realistic or not, here\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/calculator\/marketcap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">LDO&#8217;s market cap in ETH\u2019s terms<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As ETH withdrawals across staking providers climbed post-Shanghai, staking APR also fell. For example, on Lido, the month so far has been marked by a decrease in staking APR on the platform, per data from <a href=\"https:\/\/dune.com\/queries\/570874\/1464690\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dune Analytics<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As more validators exited the Ethereum Proof-of-Stake network (PoS) by withdrawing their earlier staked 32 ETH, the number of new ETH stake deposits made into the staking contract daily has been relatively unstable.
