The transaction, which was worth $135 million, happened on 6 May. According to Santiment, it was the eighth-largest LDO transfer since its inception.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How much are <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1,10,100 LDOs worth today<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">?<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But one notable part of the action was that the tokens were not sent into an exchange. Instead, they were moved from a self-custodian address to another address with the same feature.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\ude2e <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/LidoDao?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#LidoDao<\/a>, the #35 asset in <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/crypto?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#crypto<\/a> by market cap, has just seen its largest transaction in 2 years as over $135M worth of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24LDO&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$LDO<\/a> moved from one self custody address to a new one. And as such, they were not willing to budge on the resolve. The decentralized <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/lido-finance-and-the-saga-of-the-liquid-staking-derivative-sector\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">liquid staking<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> protocol for <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ethereum [ETH]<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has been gaining momentum for a while.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And it is not a new development that the protocol housed a large percentage of all the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">staked Ether [stETH]<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> deposited before Ethereum\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/analyzing-ethereums-eth-latest-updates-after-shapella-and-their-relevance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">activation of withdrawals<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It has continued to maintain a significant lead over its counterparts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But before the latest token transfer, on-chain data showed that there has been a minimal movement of long-term holdings. According to Santiment, the 90-day dormant circulation was 18,300.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although it was important to point out that there was a spike in the metric on 2 May as well. However, for most of the last three months, LDO was idle in the bags of these holders. This metric adopts the HODL waves by evaluating the number of LDOs held with a long-term view. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But here, it also considers applying the realized cap as a ratio. By doing this, the metric is able to deduct when there is euphoria in the market to sell.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Thus far, it\u2019s not yet the top<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although the RHODL waves skyrocketed to 22.05, LDO&#8217;s price did not follow in the same direction. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Therefore, this implies that long-term holders were not willing to part ways with LDO on the macro time horizon. But in a situation where the metric increases with the price, it could suggest the opposite.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With respect to its Total Value Locked (TVL), Lido\u2019s worth had diminished from the highs registered in the first few months of the year. The TVL acts as a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/protocol\/lido?groupBy=daily\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">strong indicator<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> used to measure the growth of a protocol.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Read <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/lido-dao-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lido DAO&#8217;s [LDO] Price Prediction<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2023-2024<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The TVL achieves this by considering the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/lido-finance-rides-the-wave-of-ethereums-upgrade-heres-how\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rate of deposits<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in smart contracts related to the project.
