Blog post incoming.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Christian Hasker (@chasker) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chasker\/status\/1634376056424775680?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 11, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On 10 March, an attack targeted the Smart Contract Service code of Hedera Hashgraph, transferring Hedera Token Service tokens from victims&#8217; accounts to the attacker&#8217;s account. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the attack was detected, Hedera decided to turn off mainnet proxies to prevent further theft.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to data from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/chain\/Hedera\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DefiLlama<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the total value of assets locked (TVL) on DeFi protocols on Hedera plummeted during the approximately 24-hour period that the network was offline.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Is your portfolio green? At press time, the network\u2019s TVL stood at $28.06 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While Twitter user <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KungensSlott\/status\/1634428942466555904?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">KungensSlott<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> complained of low transactions per second rate on the network soon after it returned online, Hedera has since seen an uptick in the number of transactions per second processed on the chain. As of this writing, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hederatxns.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">791 transactions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were processed per second on Hedera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/KungensSlott\/status\/1634428942466555904?s=20<\/p>\n<h3><b>HBAR faces a gloomy future<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Similar to the overall increase in the cryptocurrency market at the start of the year, the price of HBAR also rose to a high of $0.088 on 20 February and has since experienced a decline. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trading at $0.05795 at press time, HBAR\u2019s price has dropped by 34% in the past 20 days, data from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/hedera\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> revealed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As observed on a daily chart, the decline in HBAR\u2019s value since 20 February ushered in a new bear run. A look at the alt\u2019s Moving average convergence\/divergence (MACD) indicator showed the intersection of the MACD line with the trend line in a downtrend on 20 February and has since been so positioned.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As HBAR\u2019s price fell, the bears regained their strength, causing them to take control of the market. This position was proved by the alt\u2019s Directional Movement Index (DMI).<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Read\u00a0Hedera [HBAR] <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/hedera-hashgraph-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">price prediction<\/a> 2023-2024<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At press time, the sellers\u2019 strength (red) at 26.77 was solidly above the buyers\u2019 (green) at 11.52. Additionally, the Average Directional Index (ADX) at 32.28 showed that the sellers\u2019 strength was a rock-hard one that buyers might find impossible to revoke in the short term.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HBAR\u2019s price traded close to the lower band of its Bollinger Bands indicator at the time of writing.
