The new release included an important security update affecting prior versions. As per Coinwarz\u2019s data, LTC\u2019s network hashrate registered a slight uptick. An increase in hashrate generally suggests an influx of new miners into the network. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was interesting to note that since the beginning of this year, LTC\u2019s mining industry has flourished as its price has gone up considerably. At press time, it was trading at $89.12 with a market capitalization of over $6.45 billion. LTC\u2019s daily chart suggested that the bears had entered the market and were driving the coin\u2019s price down. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For example,<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/52-89-litecoin-ltc-investors-in-profit-will-the-other-shoe-drop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LTC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s relative Strength Index (RSI) was headed further below the neutral mark. The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) also registered a downtick. LTC\u2019s price touched the lower end of the Bollinger Bands, suggesting that the coin\u2019s price was about to enter a high volatility zone. Thanks to the price plummet, LTC\u2019s daily on-chain transaction volume in profit also registered a decline. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Demand from the derivatives market also decreased as LTC\u2019s DyDx funding rate declined sharply on 3 March.
