Notable was the lack of support for Ethereum developer tools. Despite the disclosure, Polygon network growth did not improve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At press time, Santiment data <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/app.santiment.net\/charts\/H73xN0J-__sCl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">showed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that the metric was down to 10,800. The network growth acts as the metric, which illustrates traction gained on a project. This was because the social dominance, as shown above, spiked to 2.029%.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The dominance displays the share of discourse related to an asset. So, this increase means that conversations around MATIC heightened to a level. This MATIC status minimally <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">differed from the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/how-matic-reacted-to-polygon-zkevms-pre-launch-hype\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pre-announcement condition<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. During this aforementioned period, funding rate increased and total supply also moved in the upward direction.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>ETH community to accept Polygon\u2019s demands?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, Polygon failed to acknowledge <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Etheruem&#8217;s [ETH]<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on its current state. But it also mentioned that the Ethereum community would have to deal with compromise on some matters. The communique stated,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIn the meantime, the Ethereum community would have to compromise, with withdrawal delays and fraud proofs, with entirely new languages designed for ZK rollups.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite the euphoria around MATIC, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/app.santiment.net\/charts\/H73xN0J-__sCl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on-chain data<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">showed that MATIC still ranked lower in terms of trending words. At the time of writing, the metric was down to 58.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Realistic or not, here&#8217;s <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/calculator\/marketcap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MATIC\u2019s market cap in ETH&#8217;s terms<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>This might, however, not be surprising, especially as the market did not react negatively to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) results.
