In fact, the metric has dipped over the last two days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The total value locked (TVL), which is the most important measure of a DeFi protocol\u2019s health, narrated the same story. While it <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/could-lido-finance-ldo-be-the-biggest-gainer-amid-staking-crisis-speculation\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">jumped on 9 February<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on the news of increased scrutiny of staking on centralized exchanges, it retreated by almost 6% at press time. What could be behind this pullback?<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>LDO long-term holders are filling their pockets<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Data from Santiment showed that LDO\u2019s exchange inflow and by extension the exchange balance increased dramatically on 10 February. The positive value pointed towards the profitability of the network and the increasing MVRV Long\/Short Difference confirmed that the long-term holders would realize greater profits. Consequently,\u00a0 selling pressure followed the jump in price.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>What\u2019s next for LDO?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The price action of LDO signaled a short-term bearish sentiment. The On Balance Volume (OBV) was also on the downward trend, which meant that the selling pressure was strong.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Realistic or not, here\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/calculator\/marketcap\">LDO\u2019s market cap in BTC\u2019s terms<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, it remained to be seen whether the wave of selling will subside or get intense.
