During the intraday trading session on 9 November, data from <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/santimentfeed\/status\/1590435958247550976?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1590435958247550976%7Ctwgr%5E725aa3ae5181af62c7350fede06b45e61850f7ae%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.trello.services%2Ftweets.html7B22secret223A22eRdDiacLqVCH1KdxaJoMNJAsGjcvUQ1Hz6t60bFhCMRXqKUh8rdL9VRX2AsoNMQI222C22context223A7B22version223A22build-180457222C22member223A226253e4291b80a55172965539222C22permissions223A7B22board223A22write222C22organization223A22read222C22card223A22write227D2C22organization223A2260fe1fbdb5fb7109a31d039b222C22board223A2261156304430c673037245e98222C22card223A22636c08afcbf0010193ec500e222C22command223A22attachment-sections222C22plugin223A2255a5d917446f51777421000b227D2C22locale223A22en-US227D\">Santiment<\/a> revealed a surge in ETH accumulation by its whales and sharks.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Read <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/ethereum-price-prediction\">Ethereum&#8217;s [ETH] Price Prediction<\/a> 2023-2024<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the on-chain analytics platform, as the price of ETH plunged, the cohort of investors holding between 100 to 1 million ETH coins ramped up ETH purchases to accumulate a combined 657, 390 ETH in just one day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As of 9 November, the whales and sharks that held between 100 to 1 million ETH coins collectively accumulated 0.54% of ETH\u2019s total supply. This percentage represented the largest single-day buys since 5 September, Santiment found.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>FUD runs the market<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the surge in accumulation by this cohort of investors is often enough to initiate a price rally, the state of the general cryptocurrency market has made any such hike in ETH\u2019s price impossible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the time of writing, the altcoin was trading at $1,182.28. A year ago, ETH was exchanging hands at $4,635 on the charts. In spite of the rally in whale accumulation over the last 48 hours, the presence of this level of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EthereumFear\/status\/1590502016966688769\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fear<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the ETH market would make it almost impossible for its price to climb significantly in the short term.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the daily chart, ETH languished under the impact of the bears as coin distributors ravaged the market. At the time of writing, ETH&#8217;s Relative Strength Index (RSI) was 35.71. Its Money Flow Index (MFI) was 30.86.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also indicating a rally in the asset\u2019s selling pressure was its Chaikin Money Flow (CMF). Interestingly, despite the sustained fall in the alt\u2019s price and the unpromising outlook in the short term, on-chain analysis revealed that ETH\u2019s supply on exchanges has dropped by 6% this week. Within the same period, its supply outside exchanges hiked by 1%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The drop in ETH\u2019s supply on exchanges showed that ETH\u2019s sell-offs have been less rampant this week, even in the face of a dwindling market. The minor growth in supply outside of exchanges within the same period only suggested that buying momentum has not been high enough to drive up the crypto&#8217;s price significantly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, positive sentiment trailed ETH despite a 9% decline in price in the last 24 hours.
