This could be attributed to increased network activity, specifically in ways that result in higher fees for network validators.<\/p>\n<p>Does it mean that ETH enthusiasts finally saw <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/evaluating-ethereum-eth-pos-network-a-month-post-merge\/\">post-Merge<\/a> ETH&#8217;s success? Here are some insights for the same.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Here\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/ethereum-price-prediction\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">AMBCrypto\u2019s Price Prediction for Ethereum [ETH]<\/a> for 2022-2023<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Staking done well<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>At the end of August 2022, the number of weekly deposits to Ethereum\u2019s Beacon Chain stood at its lowest level ever with just a few more weeks until the Merge event. But it looks like the merge finally showcased its true colors.<\/p>\n<p>Not to forget, in anticipation of the merge, there was a tangible increase in the amount of ETH staked in the days leading up to it.<\/p>\n<p>At press time, the trend continues to see new heights. Consider this, a<span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">verage daily deposits for October have been 13,500 <\/span><span class=\"r-18u37iz\"><a class=\"css-4rbku5 css-18t94o4 css-901oao css-16my406 r-1loqt21 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24ETH&amp;src=cashtag_click\">ETH<\/a><\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">, compared to 7,300 for August.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-266541 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Screen-Shot-2022-10-26-at-4.45.18-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1271\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Screen-Shot-2022-10-26-at-4.45.18-PM.png 2560w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Screen-Shot-2022-10-26-at-4.45.18-PM-300x149.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Screen-Shot-2022-10-26-at-4.45.18-PM-1024x508.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Screen-Shot-2022-10-26-at-4.45.18-PM-768x381.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Screen-Shot-2022-10-26-at-4.45.18-PM-1536x763.png 1536w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Screen-Shot-2022-10-26-at-4.45.18-PM-2048x1017.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2560px) 100vw, 2560px\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Source: Messari<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Looking at the graph, one of Messari&#8217;s analysts asserted, &#8220;<span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">The <\/span><span class=\"r-18u37iz\"><a class=\"css-4rbku5 css-18t94o4 css-901oao css-16my406 r-1loqt21 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24stETH&amp;src=cashtag_click\">$stETH<\/a><\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> discount has all but vanished.&#8221; This was actually the case which was seen in the red line&#8217;s significant increase post-merge. At press time, stETH\/ETH stood at 0.995, closing to the breakeven ratio of 1.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ethereum staking rewards rose in the last few weeks as well. Validators received larger transaction fees as a result of increased network activity.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the seven-day moving average for annualized staking rewards on stETH, a liquid staking token backed by ether, climbed to 6.37% on 20 October. According to Glassnode, the ETH <a href=\"https:\/\/studio.glassnode.com\/metrics?a=ETH&amp;category=ETH%202.0&amp;m=eth2.DepositsCount\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">staking deposits<\/a> figure stood at 826, at press time.<\/p>\n<p>The number had dropped to 1,088 on 18 October. This meant that there was less staking and validation, leading to fewer participants involved in securing the ETH network.<\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, the <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/ethereum-price-prediction\">recovery phase<\/a> was on.
