{"id":263758,"date":"2022-10-13T17:00:53","date_gmt":"2022-10-13T11:30:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/?p=263758"},"modified":"2022-10-13T12:09:35","modified_gmt":"2022-10-13T06:39:35","slug":"decoding-what-avalanche-q3-report-could-mean-for-your-portfolio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/decoding-what-avalanche-q3-report-could-mean-for-your-portfolio\/","title":{"rendered":"Decoding what Avalanche Q3 report could mean for your portfolio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On 11 September, Avalanche [AVAX] saw some important announcements and events, as <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/opensea-may-be-drowning-as-pfp-nfts-fail-to-captivate-investors\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OpenSea<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the largest peer-to-peer marketplace for NFTs on Ethereum <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/opensea\/status\/1579864021037379585?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1579864021037379585%7Ctwgr%5Ebc7c1b8d17f113786172152500ab51ce8b055c3c%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fblockworks.co%2Fopensea-adds-avalanche-marketplace-avax-traders-shrug%2F\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">launched<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the Avalanche proof-of-stake blockchain. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/gemini-receives-investment-from-new-group-of-crypto-industry-leaders\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gemini<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a digital asset exchange and custodian, had also <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gemini.com\/blog\/gemini-adds-support-for-new-blockchain-network-avalanche-avax\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">announced<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> support for <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/avalanches-developments-may-poke-avax-bulls-but-will-they-step-out-to-play\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AVAX<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> trading on the exchange. However, Avalanche&#8217;s third-quarter report indicated that the network had not had a good run.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was discovered that the asset&#8217;s network did not perform particularly well during the third quarter of 2022, which was one of the reasons why this quarter was not considered to be very beneficial. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A modest increase of 3.3% was seen in the value of the Avalanche network. A decrease in daily transactions of 65.5% and a decrease in transaction fees of 76.2% led to a 94.1% decrease in overall revenue.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Metrics indicating decline<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the daily transaction meric was examined, it was discovered that there had been a reduction in the total number of transactions that took place on the network. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the data, the number of daily transactions had significantly decreased from the 934,030 that could be observed in May to 145,518 which appeared to be the new volume range on the network. This was indicative of less usage of the network.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_263759\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-263759\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/chart-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-263759 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/chart-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1100\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/chart-2.png 1200w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/chart-2-300x275.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/chart-2-1024x939.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/chart-2-768x704.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-263759\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: SNOWTRACE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It seemed as though the number of daily active addresses took a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/snowtrace.io\/chart\/active-address\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">plunge<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as well. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of active addresses was over 113,000 in May, but by June it had dropped to just over 30,000. According to the price range, this decline was greater than 79%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There was resistance between $27.5 and $30.9, and the 200 (blue) and 50 (yellow) Moving Averages were also acting as resistance levels. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, the Relative Strength Index line was toward the oversold zone.
