According to the data shown on the NFT marketplace, ENS domains have had a 202% increase in trading volume over the last 24 hours. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the past week, it\u2019s a cumulative 52% uptick worth 2,424 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ethereum [ETH]<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Interestingly, the answer to this question is not far-fetched.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Relentless<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/ens-registration-hits-double-figures-but-heres-something-to-consider\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recall<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that ENS hit two million domain registration after just hitting one million four months before. Now, the NFT has been building momentum since hitting the milestone. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As of 1 September, ENS publicly released its registration updates for August. According to the team, it recorded its third highest month in revenue, totaling 2,744 ETH.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">August 2022 stats for ENS<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 301K new .eth registrations (total 2.17m names)<br \/>&#8211; $4.7m in protocol revenue (all goes to the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ENS_DAO?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@ENS_DAO<\/a>)<br \/>&#8211; 2,744 ETH in revenue (3rd highest month)<br \/>&#8211; 34K new eth accounts w\/ at least 1 ENS name (total 540k)<br \/>&#8211; &gt;99% of OpenSea domain vol <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/utU8i4cBMT\">pic.twitter.com\/utU8i4cBMT<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; ens.eth (@ensdomains) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ensdomains\/status\/1565374366791057409?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 1, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So it may not be surprising that ENS produced 1,131 ETH in trading volume over the past day. Sales also went up to 3,015 within the same period on OpenSea. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Compared to ENS, BAYC did not perform poorly in the last 24 hours, as it recorded a 169% increase in volume on the NFT platform. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although the previous seven days&#8217; performance was a 40% decline, BAYC recorded 1.871 ETH in trading volume. Beyond the activities on OpenSea, DappRadar <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dappradar.com\/ethereum\/other\/ethereum-name-service\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">revealed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that there had been 5,531 overall traders involved in the $2.33 million ENS transaction from 5 September till press time.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_255968\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-255968\" style=\"width: 516px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Screenshot-2022-09-06-at-07.24.24.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-255968 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Screenshot-2022-09-06-at-07.24.24.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"516\" height=\"197\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Screenshot-2022-09-06-at-07.24.24.png 516w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Screenshot-2022-09-06-at-07.24.24-300x115.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 516px) 100vw, 516px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-255968\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: DappRadar<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>Ethereum season?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In light of this landmark, ETH and its \u201ccounterparts\u201d seem to have built upon it with price increases. At press time, the ENS native token was up 7.90% while trading at $14.40. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ETH was also not left out as the altcoin king picked up a 6.01% increase, according to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Additionally, the biggest beneficiary was none other than<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Ethereum Classic [ETC]<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. While others were scrambling for minor upticks, ETC had recorded a double-digit price rise at $40.39.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While these increases could be attributed to the crypto market recovery in the last 24 hours, ENS on-chain metrics seem primarily positive. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Based on Santiment data, the ENS volume had <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/app.santiment.net\/charts\/cmkWh1IP__sCl\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">increased<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> almost 100%, with its value at $60.43 million.
