That&#8217;s the question on many investors&#8217; lips as Ukraine tries to resist Russia&#8217;s invasion. However, <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/bitcoin-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitcoin<\/a> traders need to look at what different actors are doing right now while maintaining a cautious outlook.<\/p>\n<h3>Between the devil and the deep sea<\/h3>\n<p>Data from Santiment showed that Bitcoin whales were busy churning up the waters with high-value transactions as the king coin hit the bottom of its dip, at around $34,700. What&#8217;s more, we need to look at recent history, because transactions over $100,000 and $1 million last hit a peak around 24 January, when prices bottomed before.<\/p>\n<p>Noting that the frenzy of transactions after 24 January was followed by a 15% rally the next week, whales are perhaps expecting a similar jump in price soon.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udc33 As <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bitcoin<\/a> prices bottomed out at $34.7k with Thursday&#39;s war news, whales have made some MASSIVE transactions. This has been the largest amount of both $100k+ and $1m+ <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BTC&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BTC<\/a> transactions since Jan. 24th, when prices jumped +15% the week following. \ud83d\udcc8<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/gpyqFS9UGi\">https:\/\/t.co\/gpyqFS9UGi<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/laeSxeHUXV\">pic.twitter.com\/laeSxeHUXV<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Santiment (@santimentfeed) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/santimentfeed\/status\/1497331112326180871?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 25, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>That said, exchange inflows and outflows showed how this latest bottoming out in price was different from the one in late January. Interestingly, 1 February saw outflows of more than 90,000 BTC. However, the latest dip in price did not lead to significant inflows or outflows. Ryan Selkis of Messari <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/exit-or-hodl-ace-crypto-traders-have-some-money-making-tips-for-you\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">made it clear<\/a> that he had no plans to sell his Bitcoin. Meanwhile, Lark Davis and Raoul Pal both <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/exit-or-hodl-ace-crypto-traders-have-some-money-making-tips-for-you\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">advised traders<\/a> to come up with a long-term plan and stick to it. Finally, FOMO was an <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/exit-or-hodl-ace-crypto-traders-have-some-money-making-tips-for-you\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">absolute no-no<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to that, there&#8217;s plenty of reason to be cautious. Bitcoin&#8217;s recent price action shows that the asset is becoming more volatile, further exacerbated by world events.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Things to consider over the weekend:<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bitcoin<\/a> is trading more like equity and not a safe-haven<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BTC&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BTC<\/a> volatility picking up<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bitcoin<\/a> making a comeback while <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24GLD&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$GLD<\/a> takes a hit <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/x8uzsPO7tO\">pic.twitter.com\/x8uzsPO7tO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; \ud835\udde1\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf4\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddfb\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddfd\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddf0 (@Negentropic_) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Negentropic_\/status\/1497294446387412998?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 25, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h3>Time to speed things up<\/h3>\n<p>Santiment data revealed that Bitcoin&#8217;s velocity saw a sharp uptick on 22 February, indicating a huge rise in activity as Russia invaded Ukraine.
