This level was the 50% Fibonacci retracement level based on BCH&#8217;s move from $271 to $362. However, the day prior to press time saw BCH embark on a move southward after rejection at the $344 level. The past few hours have even seen BCH drop below $316, marking it as a resistance level in the near term.<\/p>\n<p>The $302 horizontal support, as well as the 61.8% retracement level at $306, are places where bears would seek to take profit on their short positions. At the time of writing, the market structure had flipped to bearish &#8211; BCH had been unable to push above $344 (resistance), and the $318 level (most recent higher low) was also broken.<\/p>\n<h4>Rationale<\/h4>\n<figure id=\"attachment_218048\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-218048\" style=\"width: 1604px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PP-1-BCH-indicators-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-218048\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PP-1-BCH-indicators-1.jpg\" alt=\"Exploring the short-term bearish and bullish cases for Bitcoin Cash\" width=\"1604\" height=\"862\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PP-1-BCH-indicators-1.jpg 1604w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PP-1-BCH-indicators-1-300x161.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PP-1-BCH-indicators-1-1024x550.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PP-1-BCH-indicators-1-768x413.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PP-1-BCH-indicators-1-1536x825.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1604px) 100vw, 1604px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-218048\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: BCH\/USDT on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The price made a series of lower lows in the hours just before the time of writing, even as the momentum indicator made higher lows. This suggested a bullish short-term divergence, which could see the price push mildly upward.<\/p>\n<p>The RSI had climbed out of the oversold territory but still reflected the strong bearish momentum of the past few hours. The 37 level could be important in the next few hours- a rejection here on the RSI could see BCH start another leg downward.<\/p>\n<p>The Cumulative Volume Delta showed that although the selling volume recently has been strong, the buying volume of the past week has been slightly more than the selling volume. That won&#8217;t stop a move downward, though.<\/p>\n<h4>Conclusion<\/h4>\n<p>To summarize &#8211; although the market structure had flipped bearish, and the weekend approached. Bitcoin had liquidity at $42k, and $39k, and its move to either of these levels can be awaited in the next few days.
