However, with the active downtrend that interest might begin fading away soon.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Litecoin in the dark<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Litecoin has a significantly higher rate of adoption when compared to most of the other altcoins. However, it is failing as a reliable vehicle of investment at the moment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stuck under a downtrend, still, even after seven months, the altcoin could not keep the rally from continuing further despite hovering over it for almost a month. It fell back under the trend line and is presently trading at $151.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But as it began tumbling, it triggered the RSI to exhibit a pattern observed once before. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On a macro scale, the fall of LTC into the bearish-neutral zone this prolonged, was last seen only in June when LTC fell by 63.5%.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This pattern isn\u2019t random co-incidence considering there have been solid instances of this pattern recurring.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The rally of April kept the RSI in the bullish zone for about 46 days, the next rally of August lasted for 43 days too and the most recent rally of November kept on going for 46 days as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_209613\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-209613\" style=\"width: 1559px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/COdflaer.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-209613 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/COdflaer.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1559\" height=\"872\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/COdflaer.png 1559w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/COdflaer-300x168.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/COdflaer-1024x573.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/COdflaer-768x430.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/COdflaer-1536x859.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1559px) 100vw, 1559px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-209613\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em> Litecoin price action <\/em> | Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/\">TradingView &#8211; AMBCrypto<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus if we consider the same for a bearish market, right now RSI is only 40 days into the bearish-neutral zone and down by 45.86%.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Should it last for 63 days and fall by 63.5%, LTC will end up at $101.6 by January 20, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>In any case&#8230;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Litecoin investors have already turned cautious as soon as they observed the first red candle on December 24.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Volumes suddenly shot up to $10.4 billion and interestingly the highest contributing cohort to these volumes were the whales.
