Way back in September, it peaked at $3.101. Post that, however, things have only gone downhill for this altcoin.<\/p>\n<p>Towards mid-September, ADA&#8217;s price entered a symmetrical triangle on the charts. And, by mid-October, it broke below the lower support line to continue its extended downtrend.<\/p>\n<p>After briefly consolidating and then registering a couple of long green candles, ADA once again conceded to the aforementioned narrative by stepping into a descending channel. In fact, at press time, it remained encapsulated within the same structure on the charts.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_206531\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-206531\" style=\"width: 1501px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/ADAUSDT.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-206531 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/ADAUSDT.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1501\" height=\"693\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/ADAUSDT.png 1501w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/ADAUSDT-300x139.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/ADAUSDT-1024x473.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/ADAUSDT-768x355.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1501px) 100vw, 1501px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-206531\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">ADA\/USDT || Source: TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h4>Change &#8211; The only constant<\/h4>\n<p>Well, in September, when Cardano rallied to $3, the entire market was consolidating and experiencing the &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/will-bitcoins-september-blues-give-way-to-october-highs\/\">blues<\/a>.&#8217; Since then, however, the dynamics have changed.<\/p>\n<p>ADA has now become more susceptible to broader market trends. In fact, it is now among the handful of coins to get swayed and influenced by Bitcoin&#8217;s price movements the most.<\/p>\n<p>Having said that, it should be noted that ADA&#8217;s correlation with the market&#8217;s king coin has inched up from zero to almost one in less than two months. The average HODLer balance, for instance, has shrunk by more than half since mid-October.<\/p>\n<p>This brings to light the presence of macro sell pressure. Even as far as the short term is concerned, the state is no different.
