Matic was the talk of town thanks to its 31% price rally in four days. In this case, FOMO could have prompted traders to watch alt coins emerging in the space, after Santiment&#8217;s Bitcoin Weighted Sentiment value <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/santimentfeed\/status\/1432019906682257409\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dropped below zero<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Another reason for the fresh eyes on alt coins could be influencers like Charles Hoskinson. Cardano&#8217;s founder has a strong social media presence and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IOHK_Charles\/status\/1434214558810447874\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vocally responds<\/a> to those he calls\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/cardanos-hoskinson-has-this-message-for-compliance-fudsters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;FUDsters.&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0Coming to Matic, the Indian film studio Zee Studios <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ZeeStudios_\/status\/1434048462245478401\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launched<\/a> its first NFT on Polygon. Such events also could have the potential to trigger crypto FOMO and attract short-term traders.<\/p>\n<h3>Seeing Bitcoin in Perspective<\/h3>\n<p>On 6 September, on-chain analyst Willy Woo <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/woonomic\/status\/1434745420144467968\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a> the growth trajectory of Bitcoin and compared it to the growth of gold and stocks [M2 money]. Furthermore, Bitcoin stock-to-flow creator Plan B <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/100trillionUSD\/status\/1434574191970357248\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confirmed<\/a>\u00a0that his\u00a0estimate of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/100trillionUSD\/status\/1434574191970357248\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;$100K by Christmas&#8221;<\/a> was still valid.<\/p>\n<p>At press time, the <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">price<\/a> of Bitcoin was\u00a0$51,838.52.
