The markets desperately needed whales to step in and do some heavy lifting. These market players lived up to the expectations and an interesting trend can be observed over the past few days.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin whales have been piling up their holdings for quite some time now. That&#8217;s quite a massive number, isn&#8217;t it? However, the tale doesn\u2019t end there. These whales now hold a 7-week high of 9.11 million BTC in aggregate, and that\u2019s currently worth $366.89 billion. The same also accounted for 48.7% of the total Bitcoin supply.<\/p>\n<p>Miners, on the other hand, have also been <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/glassnodealerts\/status\/1405093573549232130\">accumulating<\/a> their coins. On 16 June, weekly Bitcoin outflows from miners dropped to a five-month low of $1.7 million. Nonetheless, a majority of them still continue to hold and accumulate further. E<\/span><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">ven though the whales and other market participants have been on a buying spree, the price of Bitcoin did not substantially pump up. One may wonder, why?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">Are the whales sending out a signal &#8211; a price rise signal? Are these large players still clinging on to their holdings with the desperate anticipation of an uptrend? Well, maybe yes maybe no.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">At least for the short term, Bitcoin&#8217;s price is set to oscillate in the <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/analyst-this-price-range-could-be-bitcoins-new-home-for-the-next-few-weeks\/\">$33k to $42k<\/a> range.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">As far as holdings are concerned, BTC is currently quite &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dan_pantera\/status\/1405237122659799044\">cheap<\/a>&#8221; according to Pantera Capita&#8217;s Dan Morehead, and this is the best time for investors to &#8220;buy&#8221; and settle in. <\/span>At press time, the largest crypto was trading below the $35,000 level.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past month, Bitcoin\u2019s price has oscillated between the $31k to $45k range, inclining more towards the lower end of the range.
