Irrespective of one coin&#8217;s specific growth in popularity, however, <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/mobile-marketing-insights-by-clevertap\/the-crypto-forecast-for-fast-growing-fintechs-driving-mainstream-adoption-in-2021-985b5e952f3e\">adoption<\/a> has also significantly increased in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The same was the case with respect to blockchain adoption as well, with a Deloitte <a href=\"http:\/\/bitcoinke.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Deloitte-2020-Global-Blockchain-Survey.pdf?x63648\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">survey<\/a> last year observing that over 55% of the respondents believe the tech to be critical to the future.<\/p>\n<p>Goldman Sachs is one of the latest institutions to make such a u-turn, with its recent &#8220;then vs now&#8221; analysis underlining the evolution of cryptocurrency adoption rates over time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Last year&#8217;s report (May 2020)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A report published the previous year was largely bearish about Bitcoin and other crypto-assets. What this suggests is that for many entities in the mainstream like GS, Bitcoin isn&#8217;t the only cryptocurrency to catch their eye.
