The last 10 days or so, however, have seen the altcoin&#8217;s uptrend stall somewhat, with the crypto continuing to trade around the $650-price level. In fact, at the time of writing, BNB was just less than 5% away from its ATH on the charts.<\/p>\n<p>Despite BNB choosing to consolidate its position instead of hiking, the altcoin&#8217;s technical indicators were continuing to flash bullish cues.<\/p>\n<p>While <strong>Parabolic SAR&#8217;s <\/strong>dotted markers were under the price candles and underlined the bullish nature of the BNB market, the <strong>Relative Strength Index <\/strong>was skirting the overbought zone. With room available towards the north, RSI can be expected to head towards the overbought zone once the price of the crypto climbs once again.<\/p>\n<p>Here, it&#8217;s worth noting that BNB&#8217;s price action this year has fueled <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/what-you-need-to-know-about-binance-coins-road-to-1000\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">expectations<\/a> that the alt might touch $1000 before the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Polkadot [DOT]<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_158137\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-158137\" style=\"width: 1805px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/DOT-PA-2433.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-158137 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/DOT-PA-2433.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1805\" height=\"824\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/DOT-PA-2433.png 1805w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/DOT-PA-2433-300x137.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/DOT-PA-2433-1024x467.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/DOT-PA-2433-768x351.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/DOT-PA-2433-1536x701.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1805px) 100vw, 1805px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-158137\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/DOTUSD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DOT\/USD<\/a> on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Thanks to Polkadot&#8217;s inconsistent movement over the past few months, DOT&#8217;s position on CoinMarketCap had been usurped somewhat, at press time, with the likes of Dogecoin and ICP trading well ahead of it. Over the said period, DOT&#8217;s movement has followed the crest and trough pattern, with the alt being unable to register a sustained trend in any direction.<\/p>\n<p>In the last week alone, DOT fell by over 12% in 3 days, with the crypto climbing the charts again soon after.<\/p>\n<p>The mouth of <strong>Bollinger Bands <\/strong>was widening to highlight the likelihood of incoming price volatility. <strong>MACD <\/strong>line was hovering above the Signal line, but only just, suggesting that the possibility of a bearish crossover in the near term was high.<\/p>\n<p>The aforementioned findings were in line with those underlined by a recent <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/polkadot-cosmos-bitcoin-cash-price-analysis-11-may\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">analysis<\/a>, with the same predicting that the MACD can also be projected to fall below the histogram soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MATIC<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_158141\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-158141\" style=\"width: 1805px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/MATIC-PA-2434.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-158141 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/MATIC-PA-2434.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1805\" height=\"824\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/MATIC-PA-2434.png 1805w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/MATIC-PA-2434-300x137.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/MATIC-PA-2434-1024x467.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/MATIC-PA-2434-768x351.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/MATIC-PA-2434-1536x701.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1805px) 100vw, 1805px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-158141\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/MATICUSD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MATIC\/USD<\/a> on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MATIC was one of the few alts to hike in correspondence with Ethereum&#8217;s own hike, with the crypto climbing by over 50% in just 5 days. In fact, at press time, the crypto had climbed to yet another ATH on the charts, with the alt&#8217;s bullish momentum looking set to continue for a longer while, at least until ETH&#8217;s surge loses momentum.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, MATIC&#8217;s latest uptick, in opposition to its late-April surge, wasn&#8217;t accompanied by a consistent spike in trading volume.<\/p>\n<p>While the\u00a0<strong>Awesome Oscillator&#8217;s <\/strong>histogram pictured the market momentum rising across the board, the <strong>Chaikin Money Flow <\/strong>was heading towards 0.20 on the back of growing capital inflows.<\/p>\n<p>With MATIC&#8217;s supply nearly <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/matic-is-nearly-wiped-off-of-exchanges-what-is-the-effect-on-the-price\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wiped off<\/a> of exchanges, it&#8217;s worth noting what a retail trader might expect from the crypto in the near future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While Ethereum, the world&#8217;s largest altcoin, may be breaching one ATH after the other, the same cannot be said for the rest of the market&#8217;s altcoins, including the likes of Binance Coin and Polkadot.
