While ADA&#8217;s bullishness was most evident in the month of February, since then, Cardano has continued to trade within the tight price ranges it set a few months ago. In fact, the past few months have seen ADA at its most inconsistent, with sharp bouts of appreciation followed by equally sharp downtrends on the charts.<\/p>\n<p>Like most alts in the market, ADA was hiking too after the market fell between the 24th and 25th of April. In fact, the alt climbed by almost 25% in just over a week.<\/p>\n<p>ADA&#8217;s latest attempt to register a new ATH stumbled on the charts, however, as corrections set in over the last few trading sessions. This, despite the alt&#8217;s technical indicators flashing bullish signals.<\/p>\n<p>While <strong>Parabolic SAR&#8217;s <\/strong>dotted markers were well under the price candles and pointed to a bullish market, <strong>Chaikin Money Flow, <\/strong>while dipping slightly, was well above zero and underlined the strength of capital inflows.<\/p>\n<p>ADA&#8217;s press time findings were in line with those of a recent <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/xrp-cardano-polkadot-price-analysis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">analysis<\/a> which found that buying pressure was yet to fully emerge in the market.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bitcoin Cash [BCH]<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_157082\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-157082\" style=\"width: 1805px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/BCH-PA-23242.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-157082 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/BCH-PA-23242.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1805\" height=\"824\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/BCH-PA-23242.png 1805w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/BCH-PA-23242-300x137.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/BCH-PA-23242-1024x467.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/BCH-PA-23242-768x351.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/BCH-PA-23242-1536x701.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1805px) 100vw, 1805px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-157082\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/BCHUSD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BCH\/USD<\/a> on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Bitcoin Cash, the popular fork ranked 12th on CoinMarketCap&#8217;s charts, like Cardano before it, has been hiking on the charts over the past few days. Unlike ADA, however, Bitcoin Cash&#8217;s bullish momentum hadn&#8217;t quite stalled yet, with the crypto climbing to trade at around $1,088 on the price charts. Whether BCH would be able to sustain its price action, however, was still an uncertain question at press time.<\/p>\n<p>The mouth of <strong>Bollinger Bands\u00a0<\/strong>was widening, at the time of writing, with the same a sign of incoming price volatility. Further, <strong>Relative Strength Index\u00a0<\/strong>was heading towards the overbought zone, a reflection of the alt&#8217;s price action.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s worth noting, however, that recent trading sessions have seen a dip in trading volumes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Filecoin [FIL]<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_157086\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-157086\" style=\"width: 1805px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/FIL-PA-24242.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-157086 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/FIL-PA-24242.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1805\" height=\"824\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/FIL-PA-24242.png 1805w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/FIL-PA-24242-300x137.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/FIL-PA-24242-1024x467.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/FIL-PA-24242-768x351.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/FIL-PA-24242-1536x701.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1805px) 100vw, 1805px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-157086\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/FILUSD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FIL\/USD<\/a> on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Filecoin&#8217;s price performance in the latter half of April saw the cryptocurrency enter the top-10 of CoinMarketCap&#8217;s rankings. Since then, however, FIL has fallen on the charts, with the alt found to be on a downtrend since last month.<\/p>\n<p>While Filecoin did register a resurgence in value towards the latter half of April on the back of Ethereum&#8217;s bullish performance and Bitcoin&#8217;s efforts at recovery, it was to be very brief, with FIL correcting again over the past few days.<\/p>\n<p>The switch in prevailing market trends was highlighted by the crypto&#8217;s technical indicators as <strong>MACD <\/strong>line had dropped below the Signal line, while the <strong>Awesome Oscillator&#8217;s <\/strong>histogram pictured minimal market momentum.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With Bitcoin, the world&#8217;s largest cryptocurrency, losing a lot of momentum lately, many of the market&#8217;s alts did too.
