It has now released a brand new library, one that significantly mitigates the process of coding on XRP Ledger. According to an announcement,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Ripple is excited to announce the launch of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/XRPLF\/xrpl-py\">xrpl-py<\/a>, a pure Python implementation for interacting with the XRP Ledger. The\u00a0xrpl-py\u00a0library simplifies the hardest parts of XRP Ledger interaction\u2014like serialization and transaction signing\u2014by providing native Python methods and models for <a href=\"https:\/\/xrpl.org\/transaction-formats.html\">XRP Ledger transactions<\/a> and core server <a href=\"https:\/\/xrpl.org\/api-conventions.html\">API<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ripple\/rippled\">rippled<\/a>) objects.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The development was <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=RippleX%20Launches%20xrpl-py&amp;src=typed_query\">welcomed<\/a> by many in the community, with Monica Long, General Manager of Ripple X at Ripple, being one of them. Now, Python devs can take full advantage of XRPL functionality via an easy-to-use library <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/wOe6iTrkqd\">https:\/\/t.co\/wOe6iTrkqd<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Monica Long (@MonicaLongSF) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MonicaLongSF\/status\/1379493448034607104?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 6, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.ripplex.io\/ripplex-launches-xrpl-py\/\">official statement<\/a> made by Ripple, previously, XRP Ledger had only Java and JavaScript implementations. Thus, Python developers had to either switch to a less familiar language or rely on third-party libraries. The xrpl-py library includes instruments for a whole set of XRP Ledger functionalities, including transactions processing, key generation, conversion between different types of addresses, and browsing blockchain information.<\/p>\n<p>The RippleX team has attempted to make the development experience on xrpl-py suitable for both Python pundits, as well as novices.<\/p>\n<p>Python experts can experiment with lower-level tools and functions while beginners can enjoy higher-level functions that remove a lot of unnecessary details and provide useful developer interfaces. To make this entire process more efficient, the RippleX team has also released a rich collection of manuals and tutorials, while also launching a Twitch stream to introduce its new release.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the team also shared its ambitions to disclose new libraries in other programming languages very soon, along with insertion to xrpl-py.<\/p>\n<p>Of late, it has definitely been an interesting few weeks for Ripple and its community.
