Two altcoins, in particular, have been on <\/span>the move today with market sentiments reflecting increasingly bullish patterns. In the past 24 hours, utility token <\/span>BitTorrent (BTT) which is based on the Tron blockchain and Ripple\u2019s native crypto XRP, has surged by <\/span>22.8% and 38.1%, respectively.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At press time, BTT was trading at <\/span>$0.01235 and reached an all-time high of $0.01356 roughly 16 hours ago. Meanwhile, XRP was trading at $0.912. <\/span>XRP is now the 5th largest crypto asset by market cap and ranks above popular alts such as ADA, DOT and LINK according to <\/span>coinmarketcap<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The underlying reason for the XRP price rally could stem from Ripple\u2019s latest plans to create a \u201cfinancially inclusive and sustainable future.\u201d The company shared this outlook in a blog recently that detailed how the project will work alongside \u201cmission-driven financial technology companies, leading universities, NGOs, foundations and social entrepreneurs.\u201d Especially to create \u201cgreater economic fairness and opportunity for all.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, Ripple had <\/span>said<\/span><\/a> that it acquired a 40% stake in Tranglo, Asia\u2019s cross-border payments specialist. The development had a positive influence on the XRP market<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the past 24 hours, the price of the crypto hiked <\/span>by 38% to propel XRP to $0.87, making this the highest price since early May 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

The XRP rally has been a significant factor in increasing market cap for the entire altcoin market, which now stands at over $2 trillion for the first time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Other than XRP price recovery, BTT prices have begun rallying again after <\/span>a two-day <\/span>81% <\/span><\/a>surge late last month.<\/span><\/p>\n
