Like the rest of the altcoin market, Monero too fell on the back of Bitcoin&#8217;s depreciation, with the crypto dropping by almost 9% in just over 24 hours. Since then, however, some recovery seemed to be in order, with XMR holding its position on the price charts.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted though that if BTC does drop again, in all likelihood, XMR would follow too.<\/p>\n<p>Monero&#8217;s technical indicators, on the contrary, were ambivalent in their projections. While the\u00a0<strong>Parabolic SAR&#8217;s <\/strong>dotted markers underlined the bearish strength of the market, the <strong>Chaikin Money Flow <\/strong>was holding firm above zero, in line with the consolidation on the price charts.<\/p>\n<p>The altcoin was in the news yesterday after crypto-friendly travel platform Travala.com <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/travalacom\/status\/1370572489185652737\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">added<\/a> Monero as one of its payment options.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Waves [WAVES]<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_147993\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-147993\" style=\"width: 1805px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WAVES-PA-4.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-147993 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WAVES-PA-4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1805\" height=\"784\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WAVES-PA-4.png 1805w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WAVES-PA-4-300x130.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WAVES-PA-4-1024x445.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WAVES-PA-4-768x334.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WAVES-PA-4-1536x667.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1805px) 100vw, 1805px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-147993\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/WAVESUSD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WAVES\/USD<\/a> on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For most of the last few weeks, WAVES was trading within a tight channel on the price charts. While WAVES&#8217; recent movements did push the cryptocurrency out of its rangebound price action, it wasn&#8217;t in the direction intended. In fact, the altcoin fell by over 7% in the span of 24 hours, with the crypto yet to recover all of its losses at press time despite some recovery efforts.<\/p>\n<p>While the\u00a0<strong>Bollinger Bands <\/strong>were widening somewhat to make way for some near-term price volatility, the <strong>MACD <\/strong>was nearing a bullish crossover with the Signal line, a finding lending evidence of growing momentum in the market.<\/p>\n<p>Like in the case of Monero, if the general market heads south, WAVES might be forced to follow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maker [MKR]<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_147994\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-147994\" style=\"width: 1805px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Maker-PA-3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-147994 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Maker-PA-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1805\" height=\"784\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Maker-PA-3.png 1805w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Maker-PA-3-300x130.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Maker-PA-3-1024x445.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Maker-PA-3-768x334.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Maker-PA-3-1536x667.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1805px) 100vw, 1805px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-147994\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/MKRUSD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MKR\/USD<\/a> on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ranked 48th on CoinMarketCap&#8217;s rankings at press time, Maker, like Monero and Waves before it, was also registering a recovery of sorts at press time, despite the same coming on the back of a Bitcoin-fueled correction. MKR fell by over 8% in the span of just over 24 hours, with its price action and subsequent recovery accompanied by a brief spike in trading volume too.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, MKR&#8217;s technical indicators highlighted the strength of the aforementioned recovery as while the\u00a0<strong>Relative Strength Index\u00a0<\/strong>was heading north after skirting the oversold zone on the charts, the\u00a0<strong>Awesome Oscillator <\/strong>pictured bullish momentum on its histogram.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The last 24-36 hours have been difficult for most of the crypto-market, with the likes of Monero, Waves, and Maker all following Bitcoin&#8217;s lead to drop down the price charts.
