The Shark Tank host recently <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/why-mark-cuban-is-looking-forward-to-ethereums-use-cases\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">declared<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> his fondness for the Ethereum Network and said that Bitcoin is better than gold. But now, he may be warming up to another popular cryptocurrency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuban&#8217;s NBA team which currently accepts Bitcoin as payment will now allow people to pay Dogecoin (DOGE) to buy tickets and merchandise, through a partnership with BitPay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Speaking to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/03\/04\/business\/dealbook\/economic-green-shoots.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DealBook,<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Cuban revealed that he decided to accept payments in DOGE \u201cbecause we can.&#8221; Stating that sometimes in business \u201cyou have to do things that are fun\u201d he added:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have chosen to do so because sometimes in business you have to do things that are fun, engaging, and hopefully generate a lot of PR.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So we will take Dogecoin, today, tomorrow, and possibly forevermore.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meme coin has attracted <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/doge-flips-bitcoin-ether-as-most-discussed-crypto-on-twitter\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">critics <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who think the DOGE ecosystem could be centralized. Some experts say that the token is meant for people who want to tune into Internet culture rather than serious financial gains.
