At present, the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">company has 1.0 EH\/per second.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the past eight months, Bitfarms <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globenewswire.com\/news-release\/2021\/03\/02\/2185118\/0\/en\/Bitfarms-Announces-Purchase-Agreement-for-48-000-MicroBT-Miners-to-Expand-Hash-Rate-Capacity-by-over-5-0-EH-and-named-to-TSXV-s-Top-50-Listing.html\">purchased<\/a> 12,000 rigs from MicroBT; the initial shipment of miners from the current purchase will take place close to January 2022. Bitfarms team anticipates the arrival of miners on a monthly basis throughout 2022, with the final mining equipment arriving in December, next year. Bitfarms will install the miners at existing and new facilities which are said to be in development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Earlier, Bitfarms <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bitfarms.com\/app\/uploads\/2020\/12\/2020-12-22_Final__Miner-Installation-Options.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">deployed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 1,000 Whatsminer M31S mining rigs and said it would acquire 3,000 Whatsminer M31S+ miners, which are expected to arrive in late February next year. The firm believed the mining fleet would amp up computing power and drive the growth of DeFi economy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the new miners are fully deployed, Bitfarms expects its production capacity to grow to 3.0 EH by the end of 2021. Eventually, they plan to exceed 8.0 EH by the end of 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hoping to increase their hash rate by a factor of eight, the Bitfarms\u2019 team thinks this would \u201csubstantially increase\u201d the number of Bitcoins earned on a daily basis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Emiliano Grodzki, CEO of Bitfarms noted the supply of miners as one of the greatest challenges in the foreseeable future.
