Institutions like Grayscale have consistently added to their <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/bitcoin-news\/\">Bitcoin<\/a> holdings irrespective of the price rally and the subsequent correction. Based on data from the Coinbase chart, there is a possibility that institutional investors have bought $BTC at the $30000-$32000 level. This might help sustain <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/bitcoin-news\/\">Bitcoin&#8217;s<\/a> price above $30000, protecting it from further dips. Earlier in January, Raoul Pal had tweeted about the trend at the start of the year, and how it reverses. After starting the year with zero P&amp;L, and allocating new risk buckets, and post a 2-week break, there is an increased possibility of a trend reversal or a massive correction. This takes most open positions to negative or P&amp;L grind again. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Institutional investors&#8217; support above $30000 may safeguard Bitcoin&#8217;s price rally and protect the portfolio of retail traders. Based on the map of unspent <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/bitcoin-news\/\">Bitcoins<\/a> from Whalemaps, a relatively high volume of Bitcoin was accumulated above $30000, and it is being estimated that high volume transactions that went through were by institutional investors and whales. Hence, they may support Bitcoin&#8217;s price above $30000 and hence the probability that Bitcoin&#8217;s price will drop below $30000 is low.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Based on the hourly map of unspent Bitcoins by whalemaps, most unspent Bitcoins were from the $25000 to $40000 level.
