In fact, so exponential was Litecoin&#8217;s price growth that it surged to breach its much-anticipated $100-resistance on the charts. LTC&#8217;s recent performances are interesting since they have been very contrary to much of Litecoin&#8217;s movements in the months of September and October.<\/p>\n<p>Like most alts in the market, Litecoin did register some corrections this week, the same came on the back of a 3-day hike that was worth 18%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parabolic SAR&#8217;s <\/strong>dotted markers were well below the price candles and highlighted the bullish nature of the LTC market; <strong>Chaikin Money Flow\u00a0<\/strong>was holding steady above zero, despite some strength in capital outflows.<\/p>\n<p>Litecoin was in the news a week ago after it was added as collateral by Bitfinex Borrow, alongside EOS, XRP, and Polkadot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Polkadot [DOT]<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_133086\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-133086\" style=\"width: 1805px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dot-pa-22.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-133086 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dot-pa-22.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1805\" height=\"785\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dot-pa-22.png 1805w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dot-pa-22-300x130.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dot-pa-22-1024x445.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dot-pa-22-768x334.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dot-pa-22-1536x668.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1805px) 100vw, 1805px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-133086\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/DOTUSD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DOT\/USD<\/a> on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Polkadot [DOT] didn&#8217;t quite share the price fortunes Litecoin seemed to be having, with DOT failing to register any significant recovery after falling by almost 10% in just one week. Priced at $5.07 with a market capitalization of $4.5 billion, DOT&#8217;s price movements over the past few months have been interspersed by a series of brief hikes and sharp falls, with the latest instance being an example of the latter.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted, however, that despite its struggles, DOT was seeing periods of significant trading volume on the charts.<\/p>\n<p>While the width of <strong>Bollinger Bands <\/strong>was holding somewhat to suggest some degree of price volatility in the near-term, <strong>Awesome Oscillator <\/strong>registered the barest of market momentum on its histogram.<\/p>\n<p>Polkadot was in the news recently after it <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/polkastarter\/status\/1338501069211578368\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launched<\/a> Polkastarter DEX and liquidity mining.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Algorand [ALGO]<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_133087\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-133087\" style=\"width: 1805px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Algorand-PA-5.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-133087 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Algorand-PA-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1805\" height=\"785\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Algorand-PA-5.png 1805w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Algorand-PA-5-300x130.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Algorand-PA-5-1024x445.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Algorand-PA-5-768x334.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Algorand-PA-5-1536x668.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1805px) 100vw, 1805px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-133087\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/ALGOUSD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ALGO\/USD<\/a> on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Algorand, the cryptocurrency ranked 52nd on CoinMarketCap&#8217;s charts at the time of writing, was one of the worst-hit by the market-wide corrections this week, with the crypto falling by over 18% in one week alone.
