At the time of writing, ADA was up by over 19.6% in a week, with the cryptocurrency trading at levels last seen in August 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Despite ADA&#8217;s performance on the charts, its technical indicators gave very mixed signals. While the <strong>Parabolic SAR&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>dotted markers were well below the price candles and denoted bullishness, the\u00a0<strong>Chaikin Money Flow\u00a0<\/strong>was sharply dipping towards zero, a sign of capital outflows gaining strength.<\/p>\n<p>Registering YTD returns of almost 400% at the time of writing, Cardano was in the news recently after it <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/nervosnetwork\/nervos-and-iohk-join-forces-to-make-smart-contracts-safer-1fba14aa3c81\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">collaborated<\/a> with Nervos to improve smart contract security.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IOTA<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_131848\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-131848\" style=\"width: 1805px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IOTA-PA-17.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-131848 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IOTA-PA-17.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1805\" height=\"785\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IOTA-PA-17.png 1805w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IOTA-PA-17-300x130.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IOTA-PA-17-1024x445.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IOTA-PA-17-768x334.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IOTA-PA-17-1536x668.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1805px) 100vw, 1805px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-131848\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/IOTAUSD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IOTA\/USD<\/a> on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Once one of the mainstays at the top of the crypto-ladder, IOTA has fallen dramatically since, with the cryptocurrency now ranked 31st on CoinMarketCap&#8217;s charts. Like Cardano, IOTA too noted a significant hike on the charts after it pumped by almost 20% over the week. While the said hike in price wasn&#8217;t as significant as the one registered by the cryptocurrency towards the end of November, IOTA was still trading at its September price levels.<\/p>\n<p>As far as IOTA&#8217;s technical indicators were concerned, while the\u00a0<strong>Bollinger Bands&#8217; <\/strong>width remained uniform to indicate some degree of volatility in the market, the <strong>Awesome Oscillator <\/strong>noted very minimal momentum of any kind.<\/p>\n<p>IOTA was in the news recently after Founder David S\u00f8nsteb\u00f8 <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.iota.org\/iota-foundation-parts-ways-with-david-sonstebo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">parted<\/a> ways with the IOTA Foundation following &#8220;divergent interests.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DigiByte [DGB]<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_131849\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-131849\" style=\"width: 1805px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dgb-pa-4.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-131849 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dgb-pa-4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1805\" height=\"785\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dgb-pa-4.png 1805w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dgb-pa-4-300x130.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dgb-pa-4-1024x445.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dgb-pa-4-768x334.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/dgb-pa-4-1536x668.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1805px) 100vw, 1805px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-131849\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/DGBUSD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DGB\/USD<\/a> on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Like the aforementioned cryptocurrencies, DGB too rose after the larger crypto-market pumped. However, DigiByte&#8217;s price hike wasn&#8217;t as significant as the ones noted by Cardano and IOTA. In fact, at the time of writing, corrections seemed to be already seeping into the DigiByte market.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted, however, that despite the said hike, the cryptocurrency was still trading some way away from its resistance on the charts, with DGB closer to its support level.<\/p>\n<p>While the Signal line and\u00a0<strong>MACD\u00a0<\/strong>line were intertwined following a bearish crossover, the\u00a0<strong>Relative Strength Index\u00a0<\/strong>was still mediating between the oversold and overbought zones, despite a recent dip.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These are bullish times for the cryptocurrency market.
